How are files and data secured?
Files and data uploaded to Closd are fully encrypted using the powerful AES-256 algorithm, used by banks and governments.
The connection between clients and Closd is also encrypted using TLS, the industry’s best standard.
Closd regularly has security audits and penetration tests carried out on its system by certified service providers.
How are files and data hosted?
All files and data are hosted exclusively in France by OVHcloud, a world leader in cloud hosting. Our customers’ data is backed up hourly to storage drives that benefit from triple replication to prevent data loss.
When a project is closed, all files linked to that project are permanently deleted from our servers. Closd therefore does not store any data without its users’ consent.
How are users authenticated?
Access to Closd is by invitation only, using a secure password. Our system prevents simultaneous logins of the same account on multiple devices.
Two-factor authentication (2FA) and Single Sign-On (SSO) can be implemented to enhance connection security.
To use electronic signatures, two additional layers of security guarantee the signatory’s identity:
- Automatic verification of their identity document confirming user profile information and detecting any falsification of the document;
- A one-time code (OTP) sent by SMS to the phone number provided by the user.
Are user actions recorded?
All user actions are recorded and accessible to system administrators. This helps check for any potential vulnerabilities within a project and identify which accounts can potentially be compromised.
